I will guide you through the renowned KonMari Method with understanding, gentleness and humour. I’ll weave together my skills as a KonMari consultant and psychotherapist to declutter your home of no longer needed possessions and your mind of outdated patterns and habits.

This process will expand into all areas of your life if you let it. It can remind you of what brings you joy. More time in nature? More time with family & friends? Learning a new skill or going back to a forgotten hobby?

The aim of this process is to create a home that feels like a sanctuary, to be able to let out a sigh of relief and satisfaction when you walk through the door, to feel peace and joy in your calm and ordered home.

We will work through the five categories in the KonMari method, building your understanding and skills as we go. You will learn to identify what you really love and what you’re holding onto out of habit, guilt or you’re not even sure why!

What Is The KonMari Method?

Marie Kondo, the world renowned Japanese tidying expert, created this mindful and respectful approach to decluttering. By focusing only on what truly sparks joy, you’ll make space for what matters most.

With the KonMari Method you will be guided to declutter in categories rather than room by room. This gives the opportunity to see how many items you have in a particular category, it reduces overwhelm and avoids that migrating pile of ‘stuff’ moving from place to place.

The 5 categories, clothes, books, papers, miscellaneous items (called Komono) and sentimental belongings can be broken down further into subcategories to go at a pace that works for you.
